The WARNA International Group Exhibition is convened with the following objectives :

  • To showcase the artistic talents and skills of a group of women artists in interpreting the exhibition theme Exploring Spaces Beyond Boundaries

  • To tap into the pool of women artists by providing them with a platform to develop their creativity and thus contribute to the growth and expansion of art in Malaysia

  • To enhance the visibility and improve the standing of women artists in the male-dominated art industry

  • To tell women’s universal stories and encourage their cross-cultural and international exchanges and connectivity through art.

  • Rasa Sayang Malaysia

    The "Rasa Sayang Malaysia" exhibition brings together eight accomplished artists, all grounded in art education and careers as lecturers, educators, and visual art trainers. This exhibition explores how art serves as a powerful medium to foster unity, understanding, and harmony—core values within Malaysia's richly multicultural society.

  • Pesan Dan Kenangan

    The exhibition Pesan & Kenangan, held during the Merdeka period at HARTA, celebrates the significant role of artists in shaping national identity and collective aspirations. Drawn from the collection of Pakhruddin Sulaiman, it features 48 artworks by 22 artists. The exhibition centers on themes of "kenangan" (memories), honoring ideas, values, and people, and "pesan" (message), reminding us to strive for a better future.

  • COLLAPSE by Gabriel Cheah

    Solo Art Exhibition

    Contemporary sculpture consists of the artistic practice of sculpture from roughly the 1950s to today, in which three-dimensional objects are created—and intended by the artist—as artwork. It is an art form that allows artists to reflect on societal issues using abstract or figurative representation.

  • A Journey of Devotion: John Ang: A Lifetime of Devotion.

    Exhibition & Talk

    John Ang’s story of devotion spans over 51 years, beginning with a profound experience during his first trip to Bali in 1973, when he was only 17 years old. Now 68, John has spent decades collecting pieces that reflect acts of devotion. This journey has led to his upcoming fashion show and art exhibition, “Devotion.”

  • Interwoven Realities

    Exhibition

    a group exhibition at HARTA – where the boundaries of reality blur and intersect in a mesmerising display of artistic expression. Interwoven Realities brings together the works of 32 talented artists, each offering a unique perspective on the intricate tapestry of existence.

  • Keris Pageantry: The Art of the Embellishment

    SEMINAR & WORKSHOP

    Izuan's upcoming talk will unravel not just historical narratives but also visual discoveries, providing a deeper understanding of the embellishments, materials, and ornamental features that characterize selected historical Keris.
