The ‘Strangeness’ of Canine Body Language Unlocked By Rubini Maruthian

To wrap up Ping’s first solo exhibition, please join us and certified dog trainer, Rubini Maruthian this Sunday, 18 August at 2pm for a talk on the language of dogs! 🐾

As a dog lover and trainer for the past 15 years, Rubini will talk about canine behaviour, and how their bodies talk to us in ‘strange ways’. By doing so, she hopes to shed some light on the perspectives of dogs, and what ‘strangeness’ means to them instead 😉🐶

Rubini runs PuppySchool.my in Petaling Jaya and a private dog training business, Dog Gone Good Training. She graduated from Animal Behaviour College, USA, and is an American Kennel Club (AKC) certified evaluator. She works with dogs of all breeds.

Entrance is free!

Dog Days Talk #1

We’re pleased to announce our first programme, happening this Sunday, 11 August 2024 at 2pm 😄

In ‘Metaphorical Cards, Perspectives in Art & Therapy’, we will be joined by Mimie Rahman, the managing director of MINDAKAMI, who’ll be talking about ways of interpreting art from the perspective of therapy and counselling. As a registered counsellor, Mimie’s talk will focus on ‘metaphorical cards’, a tool that she often uses in her sessions to facilitate communication, self-expression, and exploration of emotions, thoughts, and experiences. 🧠🖼️

MINDAKAMI is an initiative to raise mental health awareness and provide accessible services for everyone.

Entrance is FREE!
